GulfCoastGiving has started an annual scholarship program. The program will give the selected applicant a $2,500 scholarship towards his or her college education. GCG has been thinking about starting a scholarship program for months now and finally we’re able to start it. The scholarship is for high school seniors who are attending in state Florida schools. The applicants must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA, been accepted into a state school, have at least 3 extra-curricular activities and write an essay. GCG looks forward to continuing this annual scholarship and potentially raising $5,000 for 2012.
