Welcome to the second annual GulfCoastGiving Upgrade 2 Success 5k Run/Walk – 1Mile Fun Walk. This year’s event on Saturday, March 16th, 2013 at 8AM will help raise money for Pinellas County schools that need new IT equipment for their staff and students. The benefiting schools for 2013 are Madeira Beach Fundamental, Oakhurst Elementary & Seminole Elementary. In addition, Gulf CoastGiving.org is humbled by the position our benefiting schools have lovingly chosen; they’ve chosen to give a portion of Gulf Coast Giving's Upgrade 2 Success 5K proceeds to a relief fund for Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, CT. ♥

The event will host a chip timed race, race t-shirts, swag bags, silent auction, raffle by bib number, giveaways, finisher medals for all kids, medals for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place age groups, medals for overall male & female, music, food from Lee Roy Selmons, a visit from the Easter Bunny, arts & crafts for the kids & an Easter egg hunt!

The proceeds will be used to purchase much needed school computer equipment and computer training for the staff and students.
